Rev. Fred Weber


Rev. Fred Weber was born November 27, 1957 in Enid Oklahoma. He committed his life to the Lord at age 12 and answered God's call into the ministry in 1990 while serving in the United States Army stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado. His educational accomplishments are graduating high school from Enid High School, Enid Oklahoma in 1976, receiving of his Bachelor of Science with Music and Business concentrations from Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma in 1982 and a Master of Music with studies in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas in 1997.
Rev. Fred Weber served bi-vocational music ministries in Colorado Springs, Colorado with Calvary Baptist Church and Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon in 1992, one bi-vocational music ministry in Fort Worth Texas at Burton Hill Baptist Church while in seminary, leading to his first full time ministry as Music and Christian Education in 1996 at First Baptist Church of Anson, Texas. Upon seminary graduation, Rev. Fred Weber was called to North Carolina in1998 to Faith Baptist Church, Faith, North Carolina as Minister of Music and was ordained into the gospel ministry in 1999, then in 2003 to First Baptist Church, Locust, North Carolina and in 2007 to Antioch Baptist Church, Lincolnton, North Carolina. He has been with Unity Baptist Church as full time Minister of Music and Education since August 22, 2010. Rev. Fred Weber has served three associations in ministry positions of education ministries for the Anson , Texas association while serving at First Baptist Church, Anson, Texas and in association ministries for Rowan and Stanly Baptist Associations in North Carolina. He has served the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina Worship and Music since 2002 as the Instrumental Team Chairman since 2002 and has participated with the North Carolina Baptist Singers and Orchestra since 1998.
Rev. Fred Weber married Denise Rauch September 14, 1979. Fred and Denise met on the 50 yard line practice field of the Valiant Knights Drum and Bugle Corps where Denise carried a flag in the color guard and Fred played a baritone and bass bugle. They have three children, a son who lives in Texas with a wife and two children, a daughter living in Virginia with a husband and two children and another daughter living in North Carolina with her husband giving Fred and Denise a family including 4 grandchildren.
