Church family,
As we step into March, we’re reminded that God is always at work – often doing His deepest work in the “in-between” seasons. Winter fades, spring begins to show itself, and creation quietly preaches a sermon: new life is coming.
For many churches, March also places us on the road toward Easter. That journey calls us to slow down, examine our hearts, and draw near to Jesus with fresh devotion. Lent isn’t about earning God’s love – it’s about making room to receive it more fully. It’s a time to return to the simple yet powerful rhythms that strengthen our walk: prayer, Scripture, worship, generosity, and service to others.
If you’ve been weary, distracted, or discouraged, hear this encouragement: you do not have to stay stuck. The Lord invites you back to Himself. His mercies are new every morning, and His grace is sufficient for today. Let March be a month where we intentionally seek the Lord – personally in our homes and together as a church family.
Here are a few simple challenges for this month:
Pray daily for our church, our community, and one person who needs Christ.
Be present in worship – come expecting to speak to God.
Serve somewhere (even once this month) and encourage someone who needs it.
Invite a friend, neighbor, or family member to join you in coming to church.
Church family, I love you, and I’m thankful to be your pastor. Let’s walk into this month with faith, unity, and a renewed hunger for the Lord.
In Him,
Pastor Eddie
